Cycle World Show
« on: November 14, 2006, 01:23:42 PM »

Just wondering if anyone went to the Houston Cycle World show last weekend. They're in our part of the woods this week and was wanting opinions if it was worth the 13 bucks? :-\ :-\

Thanks,

I went to the Houstons and thought it was great. All the dealers are there with all the bikes. If you like looking at the new 2007 models and checking out some accessories, some good deals others just regular price than it's great. Also if you want to demo ride Harley, kawasawki, Yamaha and star then bring your helmet and drivers license and be there before 3pm. If you can goto local motorcycle shops and get $2 discount coupons, ours was $10 and riding your bike there, parking was Free!

I went. yamaha is awesome this year. they're gonna take over the metric cruiser market if honda doesn't do something soon. same old regular other stuff, though. It's probably worth it if you take a test ride...oh, and I met Matt Hotch.

I wonder why Honda didn't have bikes to demo at the show.

I went and thought it was a great show get to see all the new bikes if your in the market for one all in one spot for a good look and test drive.Your right about Honda and the Metric market IMO they are just about last as far as the Metric makers go and seem to really care less and told the Honda  reps that were there. They were totally surprized at my remark and told them although never a problem with my 1300 did not know if I would buy another Honda or not.

am going to the fort worth show this weekend, last year we bought my wife a riding jacket at a better price than we had seen anywhere, so price of entrance was worth it, also get to see all the new bikes, and some cool custom stuff, also have a lot of good vendors O0
