Heated Gloves
« on: January 06, 2009, 11:16:40 AM »

Hello to everyone.  New to this forum.  Need some help if I can get it.

O.K. - I have looked and read until my eyes are blurry. Been doing this for a couple of months.

I would like to get a pair of self contained heated gloves. Don't want to go through the trouble of wiring up for just the gloves. Maybe later on with a full heated suit but not now.

What is the "best" or most "highly recommended" battery operated gloves out there ? I have no problems in the 35° - 45° temps with clothing or boots and socks, just tired of numb burning hands.

Help please from the knowledge base of riders here.

Thanks • I am all eyes and ears ..... :o ..

if you can install a battery for your bike, you will be able to wire the heated gloves...  I have heated gloves, grips, seat...  I recommend it to everyone.  I wired it all and it took me about 20 minutes.

What kind of gloves do you have ? Do you have just the gloves wired or are they part of a jacket and/or pant combo ?

Jam them in your gloves. Worked good for me....

I have used these and they definately help.  But I still had problems with the fingertips on really cold days (which translates to 40 degrees for me)
