When are you going to organize your usual East Texas Frozen Rump Ride?  I'm in!

Working on it. It hasn't been cold and damp enough yet. As you will recall, we need to be too cold to pour our own coffee when we stop to thaw out in BFE, and if you can work your controls your gloves aren't thock enough.

The dampness helps the cold penetrate deeper. Cold and damp are trademarks of my rides. The last one, Pete and I were coming back and stopped at every place that looked like it might offer hot beverages. It was getting harder and harder to saddle up after each cup of coffee. I really felt bad for Pete when I peeled off on 1485, knowing he still had to go down to Kingwood. But, after a week or two I started getting some feeling back in my hands and feet.

Hmmm I'd have to figure a way to tie my shotgun down, but that shouldn't be a problem.

I haven't been on the Hipshot frozen rump ride in a few years.  Hell, I think even Vernell was there.

Actually yes we do.  Rivers, lakes and swamps.  Usually iced over though.  And yes, you will be ducking - behind your windshield to block the wind!!

Yes I am still lingering around in the background keeping an eye on good people.......everytime I run across a post like this one I start to shiver for one reason or another.  Everyone on my end is good and you will see me on a wed night her shortly.  In the meantime I'll be looking for the date of this ride and hopefully be off whenever it is scheduled.
