Added a new Pony to the Barn
« on: December 19, 2008, 10:19:53 PM »

Since my "X" is becoming more of an about town bar hopping ride, been watching for another type of ride for those longer out of town trips. Finally found what I was looking for in my price range. I flew down to Harlingen last weekend and picked up a 2004 Honda ST1300 with 18,500 miles. New tires, new plugs, new battery, Stealth passenger backrest, throttle miester and service manual, and she looks like she did when she came off the showroom floor! The big plus, lots of room for luggage!

Its dry weight is 719 lbs. It has a 7.7 gallon fuel tank. WooHoo! And when I road it back from picking it up, I averaged 49.8 mpg!!!  Yippee!

I guess I'll be waiting for you guys at your second fuel stop!!  Haha  ;D

It's sport touring, not sport cruiser...
