What would you choose to throw at the next mid east leader that visits here? I have a few ideas, but none of them are shoes.

Yeah "W" did a good job of dodging but you got to give they chunker some credit. He was right down the middle, just a little high. I don't think W saw the second one coming until it was there. He's lucky he didn't stand up faster after the first one. I wonder if they sent the guy home bare footed? He probably got a raise.

Yeah, I even gotta' admit George did good. There was a moment there when he thought there might be more to it than just a shoe that I liked, lol. Pissed me off that the secret service didn't kill the shoe chucker, if I had done that here stateside, they woulda' shot me dead, lol.

Well it certainly shows how successful Bush has been in Iraq.  Imagine just a few years ago what would have happened if the guy had thrown the shoes at Saddam?  He would have been skinned alive and left to rot hanging the the sun.  His family would have been tossed in a wood chipper.

Actually, putting your shoe on someone is an insult of the highest degree to a Muslim. I know this because, once upon a time, it seems a certain peace officer put his boot on a certain struggling burglar's neck in a multi-suspect takedown. Although the boot on the struggling burglar's neck prevented the struggling burglar from getting up (and probably getting shot by the nice policeman), the struggling burglar subsequently professed his undying faith in Islam, and took issue with the degradation of having to endure the nice policeman stepping on his neck. The struggling burglar, ably assisted by by his Muslim brethren, roiled the waters briefly with his demands for atonement. All involved had the lesson indelibly inscribed in their memories. Political correctness is so great!
