Brock I am truely sorry for you loss. My grandmother had alzheimers for well over 10 years. I felt I lost her long before she was gone. There was some comfort in knowing she went to a place where she would know who she was again, have her memories and be with her husband and two sons. When I think of her now I remember her before the alzheimers, like how much she loved gardening. I hope that your memories of your grandmother will be plentiful of her before the alzheimers.

Brock...sorry to hear about your Grandmother.  Very hard to watch them drift away.  I have experienced it, also with a family member, very hard.  Hang in there, just remember she is at peace and in a far better place...remember the happy times with her.  Prayers are with you and your family.

As others have said, it's never easy losing someone you love.  The memories will help you get through it, and time will, too.  I'm praying for you and your family.
