You really should wait and get the same breed that Obama gets. Just to be PC ya know.

Thanks, Hooter. I totally agree, and think that rescue orgs are the only way to go. There is only one way to put puppy mills out of business, and that is to dry up the demand.
I'll check them out for ya Bryan. Give me the weekend and I should know something. I emailed her, I'll go over and look at the females you were interested in. I'll check with the vets around also.
Wow! You two are sounding more like the bleeding heart tree hugger I'm portrayed to be, lol. The truth is, I agree to a point.... but, if they want a full blooded shih tzu, they are not likely to find one at a rescue. Bryan, check your PM, meet info.
I can hardly taste the difference between rescue puppies and puppies found on the street, but puppy mill puppies have a distinct taste of their own, can't cover it up no matter what spices you use. Just kidding, love dogs and have always had one. UMMMMMM, I love dogs too, specially the young tender ones. fattening up a rescue pup now. I think the old one that showed up on my pourch 10 years ago is probably to tough so I gues I'll just keep him around.
