VTX 1800 F Fuel Problen, I Think
« on: October 28, 2008, 07:18:16 PM »

Hey anyone out in Ridding Land had any trouble with the F model F-1 light coming on while ridding which cuts the engine OFF.  This Happened 4 times Sunday coming from a M & G from Lewisville.  Each time after 10 t0 20 minutes of cutting the key off and the Kill switch off and on the light would go off and the engine would start.  Anyone experienced anything like this.  Please advise.

Thanks Earl

While at it, make sure the system frame ground is not only tight, but, free of any oxidation/corrosion.   Take it off, clean it up and apply some anti-oxidant to the unlike metal terminals before you tighten them back together.

Hey guys , thanks for responding to my problem.  I redid all grounds and checked battery cabels, it still has the problem.  Took it to the Honda to have injectors and fuel pump checked, will post the results.
