i know this topic was a sticky on the old board but haven't seen it on the new board.
if you've got means of transporting a bike or would be willing to just helpout a fellow X'er you can post it here with your location and a way of getting in touch with you if need be. i'll go first.
i'm in leander, just north of austin on 183. i've got an 5X8 flip bed-trailer that can haul the X if need be.
got an air tank and plugs for the flats, gas can for the gas etc......
since everyone else is giving up the numbers here's mine. cell phone 512-801-3832 home phone 512-259-8064.

Don't have a trailer, but I do have every tool known to man. Also, I have access to a really cheap box truck with a ramp. 281-703-0068 Johnny

Guys, I believe the assistance list was located on another server...all we had here was a link. Seems like it might have been ricstirs or BDC's site. Maybe someone that knows for sure will post.

Marigold, seems like you were the one that collected it all up. Do you have a copy? I'll look on the PC when I get home and see if I downloaded it again since my old hard drive bit the dust.

Marigold did have an assistance list at one time. It was listed on Mike's website. His site was down for some time, and I removed the link. Maybe she still has it.
The list is almost 2 years old, and is probably due for some updating.

Once upon a time someone gathered all this info and e-mailed it out to all the Texas Xers. I think it's a great idea. There aren't many Xers that come through Abilene (that I know of), but I'll put my info out there nonetheless.

Good idea again, Jeremy, wouldn't this be good to be on a separate category list on the board, so that anyone anytime can volunteer/update?

fyi: this board is accessable from a cell phone if ever you need phone numbers. it would make it a little easier if it was a sticky though.
