The dunlop's do seem to wear out faster, but checking the air pressure religiously will make all makes last a whole lot longer. O0

You know, mine is wearing more on the left side too.  I just figured it's because i was making more left turns, then again that front tire has 10000 miles on it. probably will need to change it in about a 2k more.

Both Metz and Avon's are great alternatives...   O0

I just rolled over 15,000 miles on my stock Dunlops today...they still don't look like they need replacements...came from a good batch apparently.

Connie... it seems that 1300 riders do get better miles out of the stock dunnies, first and foremost... Probably a factor of power and weight... lower power, lower weight...less stress.

Also... How would you describe your riding style, out of curiosity?

LOL...I like that lower weight part...I'll take all the compliments I can imagine  :P

Riding style: probably considered more conservative...don't brake hard (unless required of course), but like to take off quickly; like to take corners as fast as I'm comfy with, altho I have just put on these new used floorboards and they sure do reduce the amount of lean I can do on some turns.

As I recall, I only got 6.5 k out of my rear stocker, getting 11-12 K outta my venom-r's.

I think your tire wear is caused by that avatar picture mix-up...  ;)

My first front tire did the same thing, but the second shows no sign of the same problem.  I replace my originals with the same dunlops, but have had no problems.  I blamed it on fighting a cross wind between here and Corpus Christi on several trips.
