Leather Riding Gear - motorcycleleather.biz
« on: October 17, 2008, 04:07:49 AM »

Have you ordered anything from:   http://www.motorcycleleather.biz   ?

Being a new rider I need to buy some cooler weather riding gear. I found this site while
searching for leather jackets. The prices are much lower than anything I've found to date.
My two concerns are, the quality of their products and their customer support standards.
I've read their return policy but, sometimes those words mean little when put into action.

I hesitate to order any clothing items on-line. I'd much rather go into a store so I can actually
try things on before I lay down any cash however, I can not find what I want at the three shops
closest to me, Pro Powersports of Conroe, Cycle Shack North (Conroe) and Lundsford Honda (Spring).
Plus the prices on this site compared to what I've seen in shops and other sites is intriguing.

Any inputs you can provide are appreciated.

Marigold bought some leather at amazing prices online, but I can't recall the name of the business. It was Leather somethingorother. Maybe she'll chime in when she sees this.

I have purchased some leathers and jackets from www.leatherup.com and they have excellent shipping cost and return policy.  Sizes run pretty true, and there sizing chart is pretty accurate.  Good prices on all their products.  :)

I have ordered some different things from Leatherup.com.  Good quality for the price (love my jacket) and their return policy is easy, no 3rd degree as to why you're returning!  O0

where ya located?  you might try  Houstons Most Wanted in traders village down Eldridge Pkwy south past West Rd. off of Hwy 290.  It's at the end of the first run of buildings one the right hand side after the pay parking booths.  In fact, you can drive to it and park close most of the time.  Owned by a guy named Tim. He's treated me right on a number of occasions.

There's supposed to be a guy in Old Town Spring that sells leather real cheap, but I can't recall his name. Never been there, but I've heard about him.

GerTXr..www.houstonsmostwanted.com will give you some insight to this shop and the owner.  He's only open on the weekends, but does ship stuff.
Hipshot...for some reason, I think Tim is the one in Spring.  Don't know if he has/had a shop there or not though.  Somewhere in the back of this addled chemo mind of mine, I think he said that's where he lives.  The website used to have a Spring address too, but I did not see it today.  Hope all is well after the storm.  Sorry about the truck, but you could always make it a convertable! Hey Louis, it looks like I've got the truck sold. I went ahead and bought a new one. As long as no one was hurt, I can deal with damage.

Leatherup.com is a great site but also check Aleather.com.  I recently called Aleather to ask if they had a pair of boots that I was looking at on leatherup but that leatherup was out of my size.  I told Aleather that they had the same pictures and models on their site as Lleatherup has on theirs.  The person I was talking to then told me that Leatherup and Aleather are actually the same place.  You can call either of them and will get the same person on the line.  The good part is they don't have the same prices.  Leatherup may have an item you want cheaper than Alather and then Aleather will have an item cheaper that Leatherup.  You can look at the code numbers on both  sites and they are the same as are the pictures of the items.   It's really weard because they are the same place.  I ask the guy on the phone why and he said thats just the way it is.
