Darwin, I've got to know what it cost to ship it over there. How long it took, etc.

shipping cost was 1475 not including port fees... port fees ran 300Euros around 500 dollars...  i went threw a company that picked it up at my dads house...or close to it... (dads house has small parking area and big trucks dont fit)

it was picked up 4th of june and it landed early august... so about 2 months... i picked it up at the port instead of having some one else transport it...

i went threw moverquest.com...

it was a pretty smooth process

I lived in Berlin for four years a while back.  Be careful of those drivers!  If they have the right-of-way they'll take it even if it kills them :o  And don't hit any bicyclist on those right hand turns  ;)

i lived in germeny for 20 years and i have to tell you, a more motorcycle friendly country you could not find.  just about everyone respects the motorcyclist rights on the road.

speaking of scenery and good riding, darwin, a run along the Mosel river is a must with a stop in cochem.  on a nice day there could be as many 5000 bikes in town.  it is also close to the Nuerburgring.  also a must ride.

have fun in germany.

Thanks Darwin. That about covers it. That cost is not 2-way is it?
