Anyone want to meet tonight 9-17?

I know people are busy with cleaning up after Ike. But wondering if a night out together wouldn't be a bad idea?
I know it was planned for North, but they got hit pretty hard and some areas still have no power. East and South East are probably still without power as they got hit the hardest.

BTW, anyone heard from our fearless leader, Brock? I tried calling but got no answer.

I know in the West we have power in most areas. Anyone know of Central's power status?
Someone want to suggest a place they know might be open?  I called the Tilted Kilt and they are up and running. Just a suggestion  ;)

Brock has power at his place. Lost some limbs from some trees but NO house damage from Ike. (Squirrels is another story.)  All the bikes he had parked in his garage came thru fine.  O0

Not sure about getting out this evening...I have 5 people living off our power and water...we tried to find a place last night in the Deer Park area to eat at...it was difficult.

The chinese place at the end of the street was open the other night.  Also i did pick up donuts this morning from a place on center st. :)

Don't think i will be able to make it to anyplace tonight.

So what's up with the gas anyway? We have stations open with long lines here West of Houston. Other points still without electric must be driving west to stand in line?

So, just wanting to get out, myself, McLovin, and Bayou Biker are going to get together at the Tilted Kilt tonight around the usual 7 PM time of an M&G. So while not an official M&G due to obvious circumstances, anyone with cabin fever wanting to meet us over there is more than welcome of course!

For a cruise that was not supposed to be, that was a nice get-together.
It was also a very nice night to ride.

Had a GREAT time except for the 45 min ride from Beltway 8 to Hwy 6 on Westheimer  >:( >:( >:( >:(  My clutch hand will NEVER be the same  :( :(  Got on the bike this morning to go to work and the hand complained to me seriously, but I ignored it, lol.  As always, it was good to see everyone that could make it, and the food really was good...and even tho I am female I would have to agree with you guys that the scenery was better than Hooters  O0.   no need to expound on this with me Wayne  :-X  Took pics of the waitstaff to send to my son overseas...the girls were very cooperative.  Thanks Nomercy for reviewing the pics and giving your approval  ::)  And a BIG thanks to Lone_wolfe for setting this all up...it was very needed.

Sounds like you guys had fun wish I could have come I was actually off but I was cooking for some friends who don't have power yet. I am not sure how long I won't be workig but I am sure once we start again I will pobably be super busy for about a month as a lot of people will need windows and siding replaced.
