I went to my house this morning. Smells like a garbage dump in the whole city. Seems like the house is holding even more of that scent.
All the furniture floated to the door I was trying to get in I think.
The 2002 Dodge Quad Cab would not even light up. The bikes (on stands) wold not light up either.
The water marks on the wall look like 3 1/2 feet in garage, 3 feet in the den and about 2 1/2 feet throughout the rest of the house.
Guess I will start trying to get the ins co's on the phone tomorrow.

Man I am sorry to hear this. I hope everything works out for you, dealing with the insurance. We are going to try to get back as soon as we can. I just hate bringing the kids back while everything is still in turmoil.

Man I am sorry that yall are going to have to deal with this. I hope everything works out for you and Pattie. Insurance companies can really be A holes in times like this. As soon as we get back to town I'll check in with you and James and see what I can do to help. I really don't know how much more I can take, living as close to the coast as we do.

whoops...click on picture gallery, then click events, then click Hurricane Ike

Yeah, I've already been there. No pics of what appeared to be by my house. I know you're obviously busy trying to demud and everything... but if you're out and about adn can manage to swing it, buzz by the fire station and take a picture of the little blue house next door to it. 305 Roberts. It was mine and the wife's first house and we still own it. The not knowing is killing us.

If you do and get the chance then e-mail it to jackandangie@tx.rr.com

Thanks,
Jack
