So far, so good, Thank you Ike
« on: September 13, 2008, 03:02:45 PM »

We are safe in Austin, neighbors sent cell pic's to me.
They report that our house looks good, no visible damge, other than there is not
a tree left on the whole 2 acres. I'll take that anytime. I'm just waiting for the ok to return home.
Here are the 2 pic's, We live 20 miles from Galveston off of hwy 6.

I hope and pray that everyone is safe.
EJ

I spoke to Dusty Bill this morning...  He's alive and well....  I think he may have even gotten a chance to finish that bottle of Crown he started last night.    O0 ;D

Boogie, good to hear you and Dusty Bill got through Ike relatively ok.  Chop up the firewood and enjoy some lower heating bills this winter.

Bryan, Tina and I have you guys in our prayers.  Hard to believe BC got it that bad.  We have not heard much about our house yet, but I know it will be pale in comparison to you and James.  Give me a call when you get a chance.
