Well, we're still without power, and our water pressure is low.  Our septic system is about full, too.

I'm wondering about Dusty Bill, Randy & the others out there.  Steve said Bryan (bgreer) & Patti lost their home completely.

Anyone know where I can get a generator???

Huntsville!  There is an 18 wheeler selling them plus sears has almost a 100 in stock if they will ever open so we can get them.
We are still a live over here.  Working my Cranberries off everyday. I have to go to Palestine everyday to print our paper.  But at least they have gas and food up there.  The guy down the street has a Generator he is letting me plug into for now.  If anyone needs me to pick something up for them let me know.  You will just have to make it here to get it.  Low on cash but I will do what I can. O0

Good luck all and God's Speed! O0

As of Sun am, the Home Depot in Brenham had generators. I got real lucky, lost a couple of trees but no structural damage. Lost power for 33 hrs.

Wayne and I are in the Deer Park area and we received lots of downed trees and lost roofing on the apt complex we are staying at...lost power on Friday night and got it back finally today (Monday).  Our house out in Rosharon got no damage at all, and apparently no loss on the trees either.  We haven't been able to make it out there to check for ourselves, just a report from neighbors.   Right now we have 5 people living in our apt...it is a little cramped, but it was a necessary thing to do.  Hope everyone is getting their lives back in order.

I lost power 2am sat morning, right before the eye wall of the storm got to Deerpark.  3am the train that was battering my house, took a break, and the entire neighborhood came out to see what the damage was.  It was very weird being in the eye of the storm, and watching the green glow of power transformers to the south/southwest light up the sky 8)

Sat night was just horrible...I don't think i have ever had a more humid/hot night.  Sun morning, i made the decision that i need power... and went searching for a generator.  Found one in Victoria!  Got home later on that evening, hooked everything up.... not only was the weather outside beautiful, so the horrid conditions of Sat night were not going to be a problem, but i only got to use my new gen for about 6 hours, before the power came back on!  I have since taken the gen over to one of my friends who is still with out power, at least someone will be able to use it.

Over all damage is light, i got a small tree leaning on the back of the house, and my back porch awning roof took off for destinations unknown......  Also some tree limb damage in the front yard.

No working comcast service, so i am having to use my cellphone's internet sharing features.

If i was not having to do cleanup today.... i would love to have been out on 2 wheels!

My power went on a couple of hours ago. if anyone needs to charge up your laptop or phone, shower or just want to chill with a little electricity let me know. I'd be happy to share. Also I am going to put some water jugs in freezer to make ice that someone may need.

Sherri-  Don't you live across from me at Boudreaux and 2920?  Do you know if the Willow Trace community has power?

I'm in Dallas and our neighbors left earlier today, so I no longer have any info on my home situation.

We fared pretty well considering being as close as we are to where it came in.The top of our big pine tree snapped but landed right at the base and not on the roof. The neighbors found the back doors blown open but little water and a few leaves and limbs so very lucky. We had power Monday night so came back home then and began the clean up.

This is frustrating.  I posted a fairly long reply but the computer must have timed out before I hit the post button, so it didn't come through.

Rather than rewrite the whole stupid thing, let me just say that I came through it all in one piece and that I'm glad everyone else seems to have done so as well.  I did have some significant damage to my condo, but at least damaged property can be fixed or replaced.  Sorry to hear about Bgreer's home.  He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

No power but my Dad was kind enough to bring his RV down for us with about 50 gallons of gas in the tank for the generator on it. No damage to the house, just a bunch of tress down in the back.  My six month old son is in Dallas with his grandparents, I didn't want him to suffer down here with us.  I'm missing him very much.... :'(

Try calling your home phone and if you have an answering machine at the house that does not run on batteries and it picks up you might have power

No I live in the woodlands but my office is right near Boudreax and 2920, they had power on Monday. Not sure where Willow Trace is but will try to find out tomorrow.

It didn't have power as of this morning when my Sergeant drove past it.
