Hey Gumbo  :)

I went to their web site after Jim mentioned them. Emailed "Bone" yesterday and he got back to me today about how to order. You can order through them directly via Paypal or a mailed check. They don't take Credit Cards. Or you can order through www.xtremerevolution.com.

I'm ordering through Paypal tonight ( it's $2 extra ) and will let you know how my experience goes.

Hey Gumbo,

I ordered 2 sets of German Pete's back off plates and my buddy didn't use his set. I have an extra set if you want them for $15..no shipping, I work in Htown and could meet you somewhere. Let me know.

Does is REALLY matter how great the plates look?  ;D    They all work, don't get caught up with the brand.

Big Larry and Bone make a plate that is relieved for the screw on the reed valve body, so you can use the body for a gasket without having to remove the screw and the reed. If we ever have to replace those PAIR systems, you can bet that the reed valves will become scarce.

Connie, tsk ... tsk, you should have been paying attention at the Tech Session!  ;)
Oh wait ... you were cooking up everyone's burgers and dawgs  O0 Thank you again!!

These block off plates are used after all the Desmog hoses and reed valves and such are removed from the engine.
Here's what we're talking about...

What Jim said...that's why I point everyone at Big Larry and Bones...  So if we have to re-smog, I might have a chance at finding reed valves since mine are gone-daddy-gone, because I used German Pete block off plates.  LOL  They're required for the Proton 4 tho!  LOL
