Picked up a new 06' Goldwing yesterday. Black with the navigational package. This freakin bike is huge. More gadgets than a spaceship but wow....what a ride. Sure is different than riding the X. I'm gong to try it out a little today around DFW. Didn't really have time to ride it much yesterday. so today's the day!

your going to love it!!! i have one exactly like yours, just got back from the wing ding in nashville, and riding 2,500 miles, they really are nice on the long haul.

Can't wait to do a long trip. That's the reason for it.. Keeping the X and using the Wing for trips. Have to figure out what all these controls do though..

 The nav thing is cool...Did you use it much on your trip?

That's why I want to get one, Mark. I'm still undecided on the color. Dark Red or Titanium to match the X. I'like to put some carbon fiber add-ons, gauge panels etc..., and I think that would look better on the Titanium. I'm soooo confused.. Congrats!!

yea we used the gps a lot, some wingers complain about it's fuctions, but we had no problems with it, it got us everywhere we wanted to go, we would just program in a town close to where we wanted to go and take off, it got us to the dragon with just the name of a nearby town. it also helped us in nashville to get around, you can program places like the opreyland motel and it computes a route to it, may not be the shortest route, but gets you there. i also like the go home fuction, you put in your home and where ever you are when you punch in go home, it calculates the quickest way home, how far, and time of arrival, that it updates as you travel, all in all pretty cool, just takes some playing with, if you have any questions give me a pm

Good to see you too. Did you guys get the bike back together? Its going to be a great look. I rode about 200 miles after I left. We rode up to Texoma and jumped in the lake. Damm was it hot yesterday!

I got home about 1:30 a.m. It was hot as AppleSauce yesterday in that garage. I will have to take a spin on that bike. Oh. of course you bought the best color (black)

Well I've had the Wing over a week now and only been able to ride it once....pretty sad....... Working for a living really sucks.... I'm leaving it in Plano for now so I will have a bike to ride when I'm up there ....assuming that happens anytime soon again... .....I'm jealous of the folks who have the time to ride....
