Thunder Mfg. air box

   I have plans to install a thunder air box on my 1300 ..........a couple questions which is better of the two the regular Thunder air box or the Tornado ?Also,have a stage 1 jet already will I need to rejet or is that good enough?How hard is this to install not that great with carbs lol

Performance wise I think they are about the same.  I hear the Thunder Hurricane slightly out performs the air box and tornado but by how much I don't know and really don't thinkone could feel the difference.  Bottom line is the big 1800's need air and Thunder definitely gives them that.  I personally chose the Tornado over the others based on looks alone.

Hope that helps.... I don't think you could go wrong with either.

I have the hurricane. I love it. You might try looking at them all in person. I'm pretty close to you.

 Cyberhick,we are pretty close for sure met youat the crawfish boil at the lil beer joint on Hwy 6.If I remember right you have a 1300 as well?

  Will more than likley go with the hurricane but have wondered about the Barons big air kit ?Cyberhick will have to give you a call and check yours out

            The tornado came in last friday.......looks good will get it on the bike maybe next week due to work  >:(

Did you get it done? I Just put my Hypercharger on and rejetted my carb I have Pics if needed. It was real EZ. I would do it again

 Actually the only part that looksa bit intimadating is the rejeting but once I get things apart may not be as bad as it looks lol.

 Well,finally got the new Tornado air box on looks great and the bike seems to run hell of alot better.It was not that bad installing it and rejetting the hard part was the fuel air adjustments they make it so easy  ;D.The thing I need to do now is to figure out where to put the bracket but it rides pretty steady for now.
