Labor Day Weekend Celebration in Uvalde, Texas, Aug. 28-31, 2008.  A Parade will be held on N. Getty St. to the Civic Center.  I am inviting all bikers to help lead it off, Aug. 30th 2008 at 11:00am.  After the Parade take a trip to the Hill country to re-group at D’Rose Inn in Leakey, TX.  for a quick free lunch, then break up into groups to ride thru the Texas Hill country or back to Uvalde to enjoy the festivities at the Fair Grounds.  For more information or to download an entry form, go to http://www.texaslabordayweekend.com/  or call me at 830.591.7250 or 830.279.3110.  If any Patriot Riders are available with their flags they would be appreciated.

Hey TxCruiser do you ever get much help down there when planning something.  I and  my wife might try to make it down there for a while and then off to the hill country and back to San Antonio.   I'll see if I can work out the time off and see if I can get anyone else from here to come along.
If there is any way you could join us on 8-16 on our ride to the Vanderpool motorcycle museum it would be great to meet you.  Also, any time you are in San Antonio lets try and meet up.  Just let us know.  Keep in touch.

Not to much help, I'm not huge in the motorcycle world, so my exposure is limited,I was volunteered to get Bikes to participate, so I am doing my best with the resources I have.  I use to run 4-wheel drive clubs and was big into that, but health issues slowed me down and I ended up spending my funds on a Bike.....and now a Baby.  I am in Austin this week training until Friday, but I will see if the Wife will let me out Sat. and I would love to make the run to Vanderpool to meet up with some VTX riders.   I will be leaving Austin Friday afternoon headed back thru SA on the way home if you are available 2ish I guess.  I am in the cage because I could not load a weeks worth of clothes on the bike, so don't laugh.
