how bout a trip to the gun range
« on: July 30, 2008, 08:27:20 AM »

With all the gun talk and laws about carring a gun... how bout a trip to the shooting range?  last time it was me and martin, mike was invited but it was a late notice and he was not able to shoot.  If you don't have a gun but still would like to go, Topgun will rent you a gun for $10.00 you will have to buy the emmo from them as well as pay the range fee.

Anyone care to go?  we can take a vote on when to go.

You talking week nights or weekends?
I know Andrew, Wayne and I went to American Shooting Center on Westheimer Parkway last Sunday...
Andrew would probably like to also go to Top Gun.

If you don't love what you're doing, then don't do it.
Your chances of success are directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do.

A bit of a long ride just for some plinking, but I am tempted. If ya get up this way, we can shoot any gun at the rock ranch. On second thought, any thing smaller than a bazooka. We have targets as well as a, guess you could call it a cabin. The range goes up to around a mile.

I'd be up for a little target practice sometime. Not sure where these places you have in mind are?
My guns are still up north, but I could have fun renting something different.
