Simonized my carbonators.......
« on: July 11, 2008, 11:04:40 AM »

Well, I did the throttle body sync using the Morgan Carbtune and found it to be very close.  I did adjust the front cylinder a little to bring them both to the same level and even them out at 3Krpm, as well.  Idle is slightly smoother.

I did notice that the front cylinder has a little more 'bounce' than the rear cylinder, nothing drastic, but, very noticeable.  Although the engine is running fine (very strong, actually), I was wondering if anyone else has seen this on their bike or if mine might have something awry and what might cause this??  Valves are adj properly and compression is within a few pounds between cylinders and slightly above spec (I have a good tight engine).  Thanks!!

What do you need??  It is an easy procedure and doesn't take long at all.  Where are you located??
Edit: I just noticed you are in Santa Fe.....that would be a little far for you to stop by,  ::).   But, if you are ever in the area........

Boogie, I'm not really close, but I AM coser than Roland. If you can get a set of vacuum gauges to use you're welcome to come up here. Like Roland said, it's really easy -- the hardest part is removing the airbox if you have the stock unit on.
