Geographically Challenged?
« on: July 09, 2008, 07:51:58 AM »

I get e-mails from all over these days. Occaisionally, I get one that's fun and entertaining. This one puts up a place name and you get to click on the map where you think the place is. Distance from the actual place and length of time deciding where the place is counts against you. Have fun.

Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

Good job.  My hardest part was picking out the small countries in Europe, SE Aisa and Central America.

Did you find a way to make the map larger?

To make this thread MC centric, how many of you have riden your or a rental motorcycle in another country?

Scooters do count.

Here is my list:

England
Scotland
Wales
Germany
Mexico
Cancun
Canada
Jamaca
St Barth
St Martin/Sint Maarten
St Kitts

I'm several kinds of nerd, but one of them is for maps.  I'm so embarrassed I didn't get past level 10 that I downloaded some political maps of asia, africa and the pacific rim to study a bit so I know where the heck some of these countries are.  LOL

WOW  hard is HARD.  I mean it's like if Norway owns a rinky dink island that's 3000 miles from the rest of Norway THAT is where the locations are...  LOL  Even if you hit the main country you can be off by thousands of kilometers!  Woof!

I have a hard enough time remembering places around my house, never mind around the world.  ;D
