The only negative I see so far is that the bike puts out a lot of heat.  However I feel that most bikes with this size engine are going to throw heat.

Shoulda got a Feejer!!   ;D ;D ;)

Congrats Dave. Gabe told me about your purchase yesterday.

I was in Phoenix two week ends ago and rented a C-14 and took it up into the mountains for a day.
Great bike.

...and now that you're on a sport tourer....

you can wear stylish full body tight fitting riding gear, sport an ascot around your neck, punctuate your speech with European phrases and drink green tea.  ;)  So many benefits.

I don't have any of those things. If you really care I might be able to find Speedo  :o  :o :D ;D

I test rode one on Thursday and I loved it.  I kept sliding forward on the FJR, but the connie was comfortable and had some nice kick to it.

Congrats.

I don't know. I think I'd go with a Wing before a sport tourer. My legs are too long. Just my $.02.

Have fun.

Then you would want to go the other way around.  The Concours is pretty tall and has plenty of room for your legs.  The wing however is not optimal for tall people.

Yeah, the Concours is the first bike I've ever sat on that I said, "Dang!  Good thing my legs are this long!"  I'm 6'4" and have a 36 or 37 inch inseam.

The ride is awsome.  Smooth and very responsive.  So far two members of the board have offered to take it off my hands for me when I tire of it :o .  I don't think thats going to happen for a long time  ;)
