Rode to my off-duty job Sunday and had a little scare. My throttle stuck open! Luckily I was on Business 121 and had plenty of open space. I was able to correct it after about 10-15 seconds. I just changed out my grips and the throttle grip had to be connected to my push/pull throttle cables. I think I may have not put enough grease has requested by the Honda manual. We'll see when I get home today and re-grease it and have a test run. I opened it up again on the way home and it only stuck open when I went full throttle. Any thoughts, chime in.-Iceman

Thanks alot! It's a VTX 1800, it's suppose to be opened up. Look at who is chiming in....bunch of pots calling the kettle black. HA ! ! ! ! If I wanted a slow bike I would have bought a different bike in the first place. I didn't map this one out to ride it like a moped.-Iceman
