Don't know where exactly you are looking to move to in the DFW area or how far you are gonna wanna drive but there are several nice areas with good schools the only problem I have is waking the neighbors up every morning on my way to work.  They don't seem to realize that I am saving them electricity by making the use of alarm clocks unnecessary

Looking at southside because my shop is in Burleson,Alvarado area, also not sure if I want to live "IN" the city, really just looking for a safe area not expensive rent wise with good schools 8) O0

Welcome to the group.   O0  No attitudes here.  Great group of folks.

As far as living options south of town, you may check in the Mansfield area.  North, check in Saginaw.  Both are about as safe as any other areas.  Or you could buy Dusty's son's house here in Allen and become my neighbor.   ;D    Not much crime here except for some guy hiring someone to kill his wife this past year.   ;D   You know, white collar crime.     ;)

I'm sure someone at sometime has considered each and everyone of us an a**hole  :-X...but to be honest, I have not seen evidence of anyone acting that way in this group...granted I have only met the Houston group, but they have been the best, and I hear that there are some good ones in other parts of this great state too ;D...welcome to the group...look forward to riding with you sometime.

These guys are very welcoming.  I just got my bike in November and went to a M&G in January.  Not only welcomed me to that locale, but tried to convince me to go to a couple of other places that afternoon.  As far as places to live, I am in Waxahachie, about 30 minutes from Alvarado.  Ellis County is a great place for a rural, laid-back lifestyle and country roads to ride.  The housing prices are reasonable too, especially compared to some of the Dallas and Tarrant County (Ft. Worth) communities.  Definitely a place to consider.

Welcome to the great state of Texas!

I live just outside of Burleson. I actually have a Burleson zip code, but I don't have yo pay their taxes. My kids (all grown now) actually attended Joshua schools. My niece and nephew go to Burleson schools and my sister says the teachers are great.

I will be down in the hill country the 13th through the 15th. I am off on Monday the 16th if you want to meet somewhere in the area. Let me know.

Thank you to all, looking forward to riding and meeting all of you. Me and the family will be in the area Sunday the 15th to probably Thurs the 19th looking for a place to call home and for the wife to look into employment. Kinda of leaning towards the Mansfield area but nothing is definate.

Thanks for making me feel welcome!!! ;) O0

Crowley it is...looked far and wide in the DFW area and we settled on Crowley, seems to be quiet and good schools. We are going to be there in our new home on Friday July 25th, looking forward to meeting some of you and getting to know the area, hoping I will be able to ride this weekend, not gonna have internet for about a week though, but will try to check in to see if anyone is riding this weekend. Have a good week hope to see you all soon... 8)
