Beaumont 2 Galveston 2 Kemah this Sunday.

Hey guys for those of you who do not have plans this Memorial Weekend I would like to ride to Galveston for lunch at the Poop Deck (http://www.galveston.com/poopdeck/)then to Kemah's Boardwalk on the trip back.

When: Sunday May 25th

Meet: Shell Station @ I-10 and Walden Rd.

Time: 10:00

KSU: 10:30

You should just head farther west! Wish you could make it out to Fredericksburg. You would really enjoy it.  O0

It's tempting..but this will be my girfriend's first ride on her own bike so wanted it keep it more local.

the poop deck doesnt serve food do they.?!? You want a good lunch in a biker friendly environment i would recommend the Spot..dubdubdub.thespotgalveston.com..chek out the spotcam on the website

Had a group of X's make this exact ride this past Sunday.  Weather was great, food and the crowd at the Spot was great, Kemah was crowded (disappointed the roller coaster was closed for some reason).  We had a great day.  Try to make your time at the ferry after 10am, as they get quite a line headed to the island.

Went to The Spots web site and they are having a parking lot party this Saturday with a live band and a bike contest. Looks like its gonna be a good time. Thanks xriderintx

Anytime carpedm..i'll see yall out there! 1 word of caution to those who don't wear helmets..memorial weekend = extra po po may be on the island..if u dont have a helmet exempt sticker or carry proof of medical insurance on ur person,you may b cited as i was on kappa weekend..A liberty cop was workn here that weeknd and from what i heard they were stopping helmetless bikers left and right! Probly best to wear the brainbucket n e way since yall will b on the freeway..b safe!
