LED lighting information
« on: May 04, 2008, 09:44:29 PM »

Posting a request for some help to locate some white LED lighting kit or kits for my ride...

If anyone knows of a vendor that is reasonable, price wise and that are easy to install..please advise..

After seeing many rides with LED lights in different and various colors I got the itch for some WHITE LED lighting after this past weekends STATE HOG RALLY in NB. and am looking to install some on my X...

Also, If anyone is sitting on some you no longer use, I may be interested in them...

I don't think ->this<- is where I bought mine, but I got some similar to this.  The "cage-clamp" connector and the stick-on modules make it pretty easy, I haven't had any problems with them in 9 months & 7000 miles.

Hard part is deciding to where to stick all the lights...

Very interesting. This seems to conflict with what is being interpreted in the other LED thread about the laws not allowing them. That link includes an email address and a phone number. Tomorrow I'm gonna give them a a call and see if I can get the straight dope on what is and isn't legal. It just makes sense to me that if we can have running lights on the bike (and I've seen some Gold Wings covered in em) then LEDs should be okay too.

I'll report what I learn talking to the MSB folks.
