C&C Cycles in the Woodlands Closed Down
« on: May 02, 2008, 07:51:48 PM »

Not sure if anyone else posted this.  But I went down today to get my tire put on and they are closed down. :(
I went to cycle shack north and they did it for $36.00 w/tax.  Than I saw a sign across the street from them at a shop that is doing it for $25.00 if you take it off the bike.

Yeah, I went by there on Thursday to get my rear tire put on, and the guys were boxing up the last of the stuff left in the store.  Rob's dad is apparently not doing well, so Rob and his family are moving out to California to take care of him.  I had to go to Global Motorsports to get mine put on.  Mine came to $32.50.  One positive note...they used the clip-on weights that go on the middle of the rim.  C&C always used stick-on weights, which looked fugly!  O0

Ok, my options for service are back to either Lunsford or Cycle Shack.  Anybody have a recommendation for the Spring Area?    ???

Sponsor a tech session; you'll learn how to do all of that stuff yourself. You will be able to rejoice in the knowledge that:

1.  It was done.
2.  It was done correctly.

If you aren't interested in doing the work yourself, I'm confident that you can get it done cheaper and better than the dealer will (not) do it.
