This may not be funny by reading it.........

Well I try anyway....... My microwave start button wouldn't start the MOmachine so I took it apart  :-X I just cused  :-X  Well it came apart with a few pieces of plastic breaking.  Well I got to the face plate but the push buttons are molded in the plate I didn't need to take the plate off the box I think OOOowell So with my West Nile Mind that was all I needed I just started shanking the plate then I said ChickenSauce it.  I didn't try to put things back together just pick up the pieces through them in the box slamed the door and through the whole thing in the back of my old truck.  Wife comes home She says what happen to the microwave I Said It's in my truck I'm taking it to the scarap yard you need to go get a new one.....

I had the lawn mower hanging from a chain while I was welding up the cracks in the frame. It caught on fire, melted the seat and a lot of the wires while I still had the hood down. Lesson learned, never enlist the help of a fire watch that has the attention span of a gnat. He went to get another beer while I was between rods.
With a lot of tape and a old pillow, I managed to get two more seasons out of that old mower. It is dead now. Just another relic in the junk pile waiting on a spark of ambition, to be reborn as another great invention, that most likely, will go back to the scrap pile.
No clue about what to do with a crapped out microwave oven, other than to deal with it much like Mr. Fix It did.

Maybe you could take the magnetron out of it and make a weapon out of it...  You'll just need a target that's willing to stand still long enough for you to cook it.
