Hello from Portland, Tx

Just wanted to say a quick hello. I have an '05 Black VTX 1300C w/some mods. My wife and I are new riders, taking military sponsored safety course next week so we can both get our licenses and be able to drive on base. She has a '94 Vulcan 500. We are both active duty Navy stationed at NAS Corpus Christi. Looking forward to as much info I can get from this site to help with my bike and riding.

Welcome to the group OldMan (hey it was your idea of a name, not mine  ;D)  My husband and I are also owners of VTXs and Kawasaki Vulcans.  We both rode Vulcan 750's for a couple of years and then within the last 3 months have both moved on to VTXs, he has an 1800 and I have a 1300.  Looking forward to riding with you some time.
