Hey X Riders, Its time for everyone to take a stand.  Either you are going to attend or You are Not.  You need to get off the FENCE  and Send a CHECK TO GERI.  This thing can't be put on because some people WANT  it.  IT TAKE EVERYONE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.  In 4 DAYS THE PRE=REGISTRATION EXPIRES.  I neeD a certain amount of time to get the TEE SHIRTS fixed and THE PINS ready.  These things DO NOT FALLY OUT OF THE SKY ON COMMAND.  pLEASE SEND YOUR CHECK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 I really sorry we're killing you with our pleas but as Earl said and other members that chimed in have posted, it takes a LOT ( that's worth repeating) A LOT of volunteer's time, preparation, and money to put this thing on. This date is the standard weekend we have our Granddady meet and greet so to say annually and this year just happened to fall on Memorial Day weekend. I guess it was, not to say bad planning, just timing, that people had made plans long ago to go somewhere for the holiday and it just isn't going to fit in their plans.  It just won't work out for somepeople. That's kool and understandable.
 We have a lot of newer members here now and alot of older one's too that doesn't realize how much fun this can be in the area of Central Texas we're going to be located and even though a lot of the older members haven't signed up, doesn't mean they won't be there, they may show for the Saturday rides, games, food and fun. Lots of them generally do.
 I know you said we're killing you and I'm sure that wasn't ment in a bad way but we need your and Wayne's support, this is your ride association also so, go ahead and fit it into your plans, it's a must thing for fun.

No, No, No, it was not meant in a bad way at all...I completely understand your need to keep prodding people. I wish we could fit it into our plans, but unfortunately we have limited amounts of time and money and some of both were already alloted to another trip right about the same time.  I hope you guys have a glorious time and I'm sure we will be so sorry we missed it.

Hey, I can get lucky even if I don't come... show up.  Seriously, we made sailing plans prior to joining up here. And damm, it's rough knowing we're gonna miss this. This is RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM WHERE I PROPOSED TO LUCKY and five years and a week later. I'm not missing this because I want to.  I'll even repeat what you guys are saying. Those of you who don't have plans need to GET OFF THE STICK and sign up. The countryside is here, wish you were beautiful.

Wish ya'll could come(said tounge in cheek) maybe next year! We haven't had a problem getting it up (participation) till this year, and were just wanting to keep a good thing rolling. Hardly any new people pre-registering.

Snake I think it's really because like I said to Lucky, this is a holiday weekend and many folks had already made plans long ago, not really thinking about BBT weekend.  Most of the newer members don't know much about this meet and are probably kinda shy and afraid to make plans to spend the weekend with some guys with weird handles that are always quoting things from past BBT's like "smell the bumper", "up in there, all the way up in there" etc. Hell just look at the brite side of this, it will give Hookem and the mayor of Billville more room to weave, not me of coarse, I ride better in some conditions.  O

You and Chad make your road routes and looks like me and Hobo will fall in.

I haven't talked to him or even had an e-mail lately. We need to send out a search party and find the Mayor, notify the Police, the Coast Guard, the Navy, bring the troops home from Iraq, and call Joe's bar and Grill to see if they've seen him.
