Is there anyone in the Houston area thinking about joining in on this ride?  I am thinking about going and maybe could meet up for the ride to Austin.  No firm plans, just seeing who might be going.

I am 80% sure I can make it. Anyone thinking about riding after lunch in Austin to Luckenbach or Marble Falls for Beer and/or pie?

Hey everyone it looks like a 0900 start out of here from BAMC. I have been in contact with the public affairs guy and let him now there was a bunch of bikers that wanted to come pick some of us up and do a fun ride around the hills.  i told them that you all are aware that in order to get on base you need to have the gear (DOT helmet, longsleeve, full finger gloves, over ankle boots and some type of reflective vest or belt, along with reg and insurance)  i told them that many of you dont have the MSF safety card since it is not required outside of the military.  I understand this is a huge nut roll to endure just to come pick up a few of us.  granted i think it would of been cool to see a bunch a bikes roll in, however if it is easier my crew here can meet up here then roll out to link up with the group before we hit the roads to austin.  i might have a couple cager buddies meet up at bikinis.  for the count to get set up at bikinis it will be myself + 4.
