Well i pulled the trigger saturday. Firestone was have a sale so i pulled in and set off a Firestorm of controversy. But finally was able to snag a Potenza 205-60-16 for $80 out the door.
Its so great to see people get that look on their face when you want a car tire for a motorcycle.
Now i have to put it on. I guess i'll take it to a local stealership to have it mounted and balanced.
Unless someone in the Mid cities has a lift and tire machine that could for a small fee do the exchange.

Anyhow can't wait to get that big old tire on my 1800R.

Welcome to The Darkside!  Which Potenza did you get?  Morgan and I have the 205/55/16 RE-01R's, but they don't come in a 205/60/16...  just curious...

Hmm thats strange i will recheck the label and make sure. But it is a 205/60/16
Lord willing i'll have it on this weekend. Got to get use to it before the trip to Colorado in July.
Since i have a 1800R  i don't suppose there would be any spots where it might rub will it?
from what i have read there shouldn't be any.

p.s. not smart enough to have a big picture of the bike on my return messages.

just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.

It shouldn't rub, but you never know until you get it on there.

I've got K-Bags and they come with longer bolts for the supports. I had to cut almost an inch off of the bolts because they rubbed the tire, (205/55/16).
