This is not a rare thing... Motorcyle escorts for motorcades and funerals ride ride WAY faster than they should because they CAN!!!! The people in the motorcades do not under stand how fast the moto officers have to ride to get to the next intersection to block it... In funerals the family has to pay for the escort...so much per officer (off duty side job), they don't want more than they have to have... It happened in Temple not long ago..... Moto going REAL fast and one of the cars decided to leave the procession-------T-bone and dead..... Sad but true...
