Spark Plugs for a VTX1300???
« on: February 21, 2008, 05:25:29 PM »

I have the standard NGK R plugs in there now.  The DCPR6E's.  But I was wondering if anybody else has found a better plug to run.  I've talked to CouldBFaster about this a bit and I just wanted some other input from people.  So who's running what for how long, why and what do you think about them?

I think the plugs in that article is for 1800 not 1300...?  I checked HDL part numbers and the plugs for the 1800 is not the same as the 1300.  Anyone know for sure?

Thats what I want but I think the 1300 take a different plug size.  I guess I will have to pull one and take to the auto parts and see if it the same plug. ::)

Well there you go...  Thanks Bro!
I did a cross reference last night on a 1300 plug and couldn't fine anything but Den and NGK.  That sucks!!  I want a splitfire or a Bosch+4. :'(

Yes, the Bosch 4419's are way too big for the 1300, I made that mistake first.  I guess the NGKs in there now will have to work.
