Sorry to see the X go, brings back great memories of Big Bend. You going to take the wing to BBT this year?

SOLD and as sad as Brookster is, I'm just as happy. When I started riding, I never dreamed that I'd ride anything as nice as this. You take the MSF course on those teeny tiny 250cc bikes and think they are so big. Then you get a 750 and it's huge and fast. But several trips to the Hill Country on that one makes you start looking around for a larger bike. But we had only JUST started thinking about a newer bike for me as we just bought Lucky's bike. But opportunities like this don't come around often and so we jumped on it. The 1800 rides just like it should and a twist of the throttle propels you right down the road.

My first ride was down the street from Brookster's and the speed limit is 40mph. So I'm going up through the gears, getting a feel for the size and power of this bike when I look down and notice I'm going fast enough to go to jail instead of just getting a ticket.  :o  Whoa!!! And I wasn't even straining the engine. Hell, I was taking it easy on it cause it wasnt' MY BIKE!!! So now when Lucky heads down the road, I can keep up. (I like riding behind her and watching her a$$.  ;)) Rest easy, Brookster. We'll take care of each other.

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.
