I'm betting they wouldn't let you have HOBOX.  Because it would be read as HO BOX.  :)

I've got a few ideas, just trying to decide if I want to do it.  I love the applet that lets you check availability.  Sadly my old UB2SLO is unavailable.  LOL

I was thinking the same thing :o

I let 1 BADX go in October. Got tired of paying the extra $40 a year just for the plate. Thought about getting 8ABUG though.

When I type it in with the space, it won't take it. It gives me some kind of bad character error. I tried using a dash and an underline, but it wouldn't take them either. How do you specify where to use the space?

When you sign up to get you plates it will take you to a form that has 6 spaces where you put your choice of letters, if you want a space, that space blank. I'm not sure but that's what it appeared to be to me when I signed up.

I didn't do it online.  I called them to see if it was available, and then I printed the form...filled it out...and mailed it in!

Yeah it seems their applet won't recognize the space, you'll have to call to check availability.

Had to be done.  But I have to DRIVE to the county courthouse and PICK IT UP when it's in?  What kind of rinky-dink operation is this?  I suppose it some security so it doesn't get stolen or some other b.s.
