Lowering Shocks

I'm new to Texas X Rider

Have an 02 1800c and was thinking about putting lowering shocks on it but do not have a clue what brand or what lenghth. I don't have a passenger very often and don't no if this makes a differance.
I live in the Austin area lookin to ride

Welcome to the group!  I put the 11.5" Progressives on mine and love it.  Lowered the back about a half inch or so and the quality of the shocks are much better, too.   O0

Progressive 11.5 will give a better ride for sure and sit down the bike.<< Just like SouthernXer said.  8)

Thanks for the input.
Is there a certain brand and price and place to find them.
Progressive is the brand and useally the 412s are ones that are affordable.If do a search for Progressive shocks you will find that most places have them for about the same price but might find a sale on some if your lucky.  8)

I have Progressive 11" shocks and I love the ride compared to stock.

depends if you want to modify the rear fender or not. Are you going with larger rear tire?

I can lower any bike with my 300 pound azz on them, that is why I went to the progressive 412 13"
