I used Honda Brand Grip Glue bought from the dealer for about $6-7      enough for quite a few grips

Same stuff that was under the stock grips, looked like

Plenty of time to align grip as it takes 6 hours(if I remember right) to cure

I used gel-type superglue on mine about 2 years ago, and it is still just fine.  O0

One of the guys at work swears by contact cleaner. First you use it and clean and wipe dry the bar. Then Soak the bar with it and put the grip on. Drys in a few seconds.
