Well let's see. First we'll need to lower the armrests and get the seat done in leather with some studs. Then we'll go darkside and spend about 7K on chrome. Then I'll ride it.  O0

...in thirty years.

Mike in 30 years there should be a show out called "Trick my Hover"

Though a wing is in my future, I'm not trying to justify that. I was just wondering how people keep on riding when body parts start crapping out in a big way. Some very old people are blessed to be in very good shape for a long time. I am not one of the lucky ones. I was wondering how others deal with pain that mostly comes from being old and worn out.
Like good drugs, if there is such a thing, seems like every drug on the market has some law firm with class action case, after them. I watched a show on the science channel about ageing. They are working on stopping and reversing the process. They said it is possible that the children of today could live for as long as 2,000 years. That won't do us,
much good, but it was something to learn about how and why we age.
Yeast don't die ever, from age. We are not programed to die, funny thing is that some parts of our bodies age at different rates. This Geezing thing is not something I am growing into gracefully. I have carried a organ doner card for over 30 years, but at this point there may not be much worth salvaging.
I will be out there on some kind of bike, unless the people in the white coats finnaly catch me. they have been looking to throw a net over me for a long time. It seems I burned out my last brain cells trying to guess this Smell the Bumper thing.

Hey T-cat,  Even though I do feel the effects of my earlier years, I have found that maintaining an exercise program has definitely helped.  It has also aided with the stamina I need when riding and doing other physical activities.
Maybe your train of thought should be, what can I do to help my body so I do not have to be dependent Pharm companies.
You are right that every drug that comes out seems to have a host of side affects to go with it.
My wife who is 45 has realized how her workouts helped her physically recover from a mastectomy/reconstruction.

My Philosophy is you're never to old and think like an 18 year old.

Wild E, GET the cortisone shot! I promise you will be glad you did within minutes of the needle stick, even if you can't stand needles! I have had it done five times in my life, shoulder, elbow, each foot(heel) and the ball of one. The first time I suffered for months, not even knowing the "miracle" shot was available. Big stick? Yeah, but when you hobble in and walk out normal, you'll be glad you did! I promise ya. You'll hate yourself for not having gone WAAAAAYYY sooner.
Forget giving up the bike!

Never been the kind to break a sweat without it being involved with money, or a project I wanted done. I am not a fat person who needs to loose weight. Fact is if I put on weight it wouldn't hurt, I am one of those who went and did the hay hauling insted of going to the gym. I can't do that now. I have no fear of growing fat, it's not in my geenes, My problem is my parts hate each other now.  Even if I put sprinkles on the Yoga it would still hurt. I got no problem dealing with pain as long as it is not my own.
