not to gloat, but only 3 bikes were running
MRVTX - 1300
BGREER - 1800
and myself - 1800

so here are my times, and I dont have a PC3 on the bike just hypercharger and V&H big shots
track started getting slippery I think maybe from the fog or something
1st 3 runs felt good, but then started spinning  the rear tire real bad
12.497 @ 104.81 MPH first time ever doing this
12.843 @ 106.45
12.387 @ 107.07 front tire actually came off the ground on this one
the rest I was spinning
13.025 @ 105.15
12.875 @ 106.25
12.748 @ 105.31
12.912 @ 105.76
I think they got my number mixed up with Bryan on my last run
14.890 @ 100.67 this just does not sound right

I had to get back to work so they were still there when I left

:'( :'( :'( :'( I wish I was there.  By the time the trailer got there I was told if I went on the VTX they wouldn't guarantee the HD getting back safe. :'( :'( :'( :'(

So is the track not going to be open on the 28th??

nope it will be open Sunday for basically the same thing 12/16,
but they will be closed for race night like tonight until 1/11/08

so let's get something going for 1/11, since I'm hooked and I will take work off O0

all you need is a leather jacket, leather gloves, and over the ankle boots, oh and $20 for as many runs and you can do in a night

Great, I'm off then too.  Maybe I should bring extra belts, lol.  I was telling DAR that we should maybe go with a trailer next time for several different reasons.

I'm in need of a new rear tire since it was bad before I went
I think I want to go darkside, maybe that will help me stop spinning that rear tire :D :D

Skippy75 was the Man tonight...smoked my but on every run, he's got a real strong bike...My best run was the 2nd run of the night  12.69 @ 105.6 ....my times and speeds went steadily downhill from there...when Skip and I started runnin, I was all over the track, he took me off the line everytime..it was tons of fun though, and I will definatley go back...gettin there early is the key, you can literally race.. drive back to the start line, and go again....Thanks guys

Bryan

p.s. Lori, we'll find a better place to eat next time...one with a decent size order of fries

That's what happens when you try to race an orange 1300!  ;)  That sucked...I know Becca was itching to get out there and run her bikes.

I had fun as usual, though I got my tail whipped every time down the track (except when I raced myself).   ;D  Skipppy's bike just kept pulling away from me during the races...that bike is pretty strong.  Oh, and he had his windshield on the whole time, too!

I got 16 runs in!  My best run was:

R/T     0.693
60'      1.908
330'     5.481
1/8      8.572
MPH     78.57
1000'   11.331
1/4      13.743
MPH     92.77

That 1/4-mile time was close to my best run ever of 13.698.  We definitely need to go again, and get more people out there!

He's got a strong bike for sure...I had problems hookin up at the line, she like to got away from me a couple of times...maybe I was tryin to hard...kept tryin different lines, different rpm's from launch..different shift points...I do know the best runs I had was when I powered through the 1/4 in 4th and did not shift to early...there is definatley an art to this, but thats what makes it fun

I remember that on my best time I hit the rev limiter in 4th crossing the line.
I figured out shifting from 4th to 5th right at the last second was actually killing me?
well next time I hope there is some more folks/competition to race against.
I had a great time and I am now hooked

see yah all later :D :D
