How about using the clear ones and putting in a red led cluster.

Get some candy red spray paint from wallyworld automotive...mask off the outside of the lens, lay a quarter in the center of the inside of your lens, and BARELY spray red into the lens. Using the quarter in the center keeps the turn signals bright in the center, and the outer red should appease any police, unless they "want" you anyway.

Thanks so much for all the info. I found a site called X-Choppers,they specialize in VTX parts. They have the whole set-up in one package for $83,that's about $30 more than what Harley gets for thier package to change over an Ultra Classic. Oh,and red is leagal in the state of TX. That's what automobile's have so why wouldn't it be. Anyway...went with my boddie to Longhorn Harley to see what they have for the HOG's and they get like $53 for thiers. CHEAPER THAN HONDA !!!!!!!!! I could not believe it.

I bought the red lenses for mine from Kuryakyn for about 30 dollars. I also bought the yellow for the front to match the back.

That 83 dollars is not a Honda dealer price like the Harley price is a Harley dealer price. Probably wouuld still be about the same though, if Honda sold one. I still say the paint is the way to go though. brighter turn signals AND markers, for virtually free. If you try it you may save 83 bucks you need for chrome and if you don't like it, You lost maybe 2 bucks.

Just a recap,I bought the Kuryakyn Tripple Whammy & it does everything I wanted,I even have the option to unplug the flasher to the rear lights so they don't all flash when I brake. Just be aware that the instructions say to remove the heat shield from the stock flashers and on the 07' VTX 1300R there are none to remove, just remove the lenses and install the Kuryakyn lights right out of the package.
