Snake,

BeLIEVE, but not sure, that a "meskin" is someone who claims home is somewhere slightly south of a "merkin".... ::)

nothing wrong with being just a good ole' redneck meskin boy

meskin???

It's an old song by little joe y la familia.  Talks about how he grew up being a redneck mexican.  Titled "redneck meskin boy".

Thought I would put the important stuff in one post and give this a BUMP

Vtrex....
"As of NOW we are looking at Aug the 12th (SAT) at Las Casas! Big A and I will plan a ride after we eat. We will try to eat at 11:00am so we will have time for a ride after that. Please try to come! This will be a state wide meet. Who wants to plan for Sept?Step up and show the X spirit!!!!!!"

Big A....
las casas is in temple, right on i 35, has a very large parking lot, has a really nice patio with coolers, and awesome 32 oz. frozen marquaritas, and world famous white wings, also not far to temple lake park or stillhouse lake. and we have some really nice rides we can take, toward the lake and mother neff state park, can even go by where RD'S infamous cowtipping took place.    i think every one will like this place.  easy to get too, and easy to get out, also lot's of hotels forv anyone who would like to stay over.

Boomer,

There will probably be a new thread started about this meet when it gets closer. This one has drug on for a while and changed topics a couple of times, but the above is the jest of it for now.
And it is quite alright to be "dullard", you just have to tell dummy's like me what dullard means. Sort of sounds like a breed of duck...am I close?  :D ;D :D

Bill,

THANKS for the recap....you're right, a "dullard" is a mallard when it's NOT the mating season, and he's not so worried about his appearance (kinda like me, all the time)....

Cheers,

How about Lake Somerville. There are some of us who still haven't seen it. hehe

Sherri
Is there some good place that 20 to 60 VTXers can be served? I have also heard that they are not real biker friendly in that area (SHERIFF) We need a place to meet and eat!!!!!

I'm the Sheriff  ;D well that's my bike's name Sheriff Gary.  I'll call Greg Abbott and have him talk to the Sheriff.  ;)  I wonder why your worried about the law  :-\  are you a convict on the run? lol  :)

:-\  Seems nearly all the meeters are located in central or southern Texas  :(

Will be difficult for me to do a 'one day' kinda thing.

Any north Texas riders around?  If so, do they meet now and then (or ride)?

I'd like to go to this, but I really think 11 is a little early for a statewide meet. It's 3 1/2 hours (without stops) from the Woodlands and if you can add an hour for anyone from South Houston. From here Temple is more like South Dallas.

Would it make a difference to any Houstoners if it was a little later?

Sherri you are right on. I would just hate to eat and run. It may be a two day trip for me. I made it from Dallas to Friendswood in 4 hrs and 30 minutes.

This IS page 5.???????? I guess it depends if you have your pages going or coming!????
I agree Sherri, I'll have to leave about five in the morning. 1 is about the best I would think, but, 11 can do if it has to.
