I signed up to learn more about VTX's, and was reading here LONG before i actually joined.  I've owned the bike for over a year and a half and decided NOT to put it in a storage facility because i moved to an apartment complex and work offshore 21days out of 42.  I could have left it where it was in a family member's garage 50miles a way, but not worth that.  It's not fair to the bike to let it sit so much even when i'm home.  A bike was meant to be ridden.  In a couple of years i'll get into a house and again get another bike.  And i expected since this was a VTX site and it was greatly promoted, someone might know a person wishing to get in on this great type of bike.

It's cool that you have been trying to learn more about the VTX, but why not say anything?  It is kinda odd that you signed up 8 months ago but your first post was "Who wants to buy a bike".  It may have come out better if everyone knew you were here all this time.  My .02

When i had time i read all i could about products and repairs from this site as well as a few others out of state, but due to my odd work schedule i never made any meet and greets, so my name wasn't out there in any area.  I was new to VTX's and couldn't use much of personal experience to try and help others in the garage section, so i stayed quiet.  I'll again own another VTX in the future.  Your .02 is well taken.
