I changed mine a few weeks ago, and followed the instructions (had onlook help from a friend). If you don't have compressed air or other method, use utility knife to GENTLY slit stock grips, then slowly run a flathead (the thinner the better) screwdriver under the grip. Do the clutch side first since it's easier, and it will get you ready for the throttle side. Make sure you drizzle the glue well when putting new grips on, or it won't hold well. It's easier than it sounds if you just pay attention to the details.
