Auto shut-off timer for LED lights
« on: September 21, 2007, 07:11:31 AM »

Got a LED kit ordered, should be here next week.  Was thinking that with my well demonstrated ADD affliction , it would be good to have a switch that would automatically time out after a couple hours and shut the lights off.  Anybody know if such a beast exists and where to get it?

if your worried about draining the battery, don't be. all it is, is a diode and doesn't draw hardly and juice from it. i've left mine on for two days straight in the garage once any diddn't even realize it. she still fired right up. i'm proof that it won't kill the battery O0

With the low voltage LED's draw, couldn't you wire it thru a capacitor?

Just a thought.
