Looking for a heel rest or highway pegs...
« on: August 30, 2007, 09:06:20 PM »

http://xchoppers.com/product_info.php?products_id=1453

I was looking for something like above, but $$$ for a small piece of metal that simply clamps to my floorboard?

I have a 03 1800C, that I put cobra floorboards on.  Are there High / Cruiser pegs that mount to the frame?  I don't really want to get engine / crash bars.  or anywhere to get heel rests that clamp to your floorboards cheaper than that?

Thanks!

That's not a bad price. By the time you buy the clamps, offset extensions, pegs, and adapters you will be over that. I'm talking about if you just clamp them on your frame down tubes. Otherwise then you have to add the price of the highway bar also. O0

Found these frame-mounted pegs that are a little cheaper, but read the reviews, may not work with your pipes.

Kuryakyn and some others make something that would work -- check the HDL site.

Rivco makes a highway bar that clamps to the frame. I have them on my 1800c. Minicop had some for sale not too long ago and I bet he still has them. PM him and see if he has them and maybe they will work for you. Good luck.  8)

he was last active may 26, but i pm'd him and emailed him, we'll see what happens.  I like those from Rivco, and that's not a bad price for brand new, a little more than the heel rests, but i like the look a lot more...

If you're not running stock exhaust headers, make sure the Rivco mounts will clear your pipes.
