Champion bags installed, a few pics
« on: August 24, 2007, 07:33:33 AM »

Having read all the numerous threads on hard bags the decision came down to the Tsukayu's and the Champions. From all indication quality is with the Champions and the best deal is with the Tsukayu, I opted for the Champions they are pricey and they are good quality bags, the install was pretty straight foward. I chose not to let Champions paint my bags so the turn around time was about two weeks. I had paint matched locally when I had the fairing painted a few weeks ago so I knew that I had a good color match. The turn signals were another issue, I had to remove the stocks and go with the Arlen Ness that comes with the bags. I had a run-turn-brake controller installed, but I read that even without the r-t-b controller that the Arlen Ness turn signals will also function as running lights as well. The Arlen Ness are just as bright if not brighter as the stocks. For those considering bags, I cant offer much on the Tsukayu but I can say that the Champions quality is first rate.
