Bike Trailer
« on: August 23, 2007, 07:50:17 PM »

There was a company that made a good priced bike hauling trailer in Plano I think.  I lost the link when my old computer crashed.  Does anyone know this company and if they are still in business.

I have a Miller Bobcat and a Millermatic 210 and most all the other metal working tools, sounds like fun. When and where?

Well, if I get one, I need to get it in the next couple of days.  Been thinking it over  awhile, but I need to take some stuff to my daughters photo shoot in Salado for that bike run and it is going to be hard to take everything on the bike, if I don't get one soon, I may chat with you about it.

U-Haul rents 'em cheap, for the one you need soon, I don't have a lot of faith in the golf cart tires they put on the trailer, but mine held up at 80mph from midland to dfw and back...

You can't even spell trailer Bigpro, lol.  I would not either, but this is a special circumstance to help my daughter get her photo business off the ground and it supports a great charity.

I rented one to go to OK City and back it was doing fine, but truck shook after loading the bike and driving it back.
usually around 70 but once I hit 80-85 it was smooth sailing, oh in was in winter so don't know about the heat on the tires.

I bought a trailer, so I could take the wife, her bike and the kids, to Denver. It is the only time my bike has ever been on a trailer. It got its first dents and scratches from falling over during the trip. Tie her down good, then double every thing.

Thinking on selling mine, make me an offer..

This was built around the VTX for the VTX!
Not all that many miles on it, but the paint and tires are starting to weather now..

Not just yet, don't cry man!  Not even sure I am going to buy one yet. Outside of this trip, the only other reason I could think of to have one is when I take it in for service and wouldn't have to arrange a ride home.  Overall, pulling trailers makes me nervous and with a bike, triple that.
